Privacy policy
Draft text — under review by the firm.
Draft for the firm's legal review.
This policy explains how Dr. Moosa Al-Azri – Lawyers and Legal Consultants (“the firm”, “we”) processes personal data collected through this website, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree 6/2022 and its executive regulations.
Who is responsible for your data
The firm is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Office: Bousher, Building No. 101/1, Complex 255, Second Floor, Offices 21 & 22, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Email: info@mazri-law.om.
What we collect
- Details you send through the contact form: name, email address, phone number, preferred language and contact method, the subject and content of your message, and any file you attach.
- Your email address and language if you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Technical data needed to run and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser information, and anti-spam checks (Google reCAPTCHA) when enabled.
- If you accept statistics cookies, anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and, where appropriate, arrange a consultation.
- To send the newsletter you asked for (you confirm by email first and can unsubscribe at any time).
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use carefully selected service providers to operate the website: hosting, our email delivery provider, and — to help our staff draft replies — an artificial-intelligence service that receives the text of your message with phone numbers and email addresses removed. Replies are always reviewed and sent by a member of our team. Some of these providers may process data outside Oman; we only use providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for no longer than necessary to deal with them and for any related legal obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or object to processing, by writing to info@mazri-law.om. You may also complain to the competent authority in the Sultanate of Oman.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the latest version is shown on this page.
